High School Weekend
September 4-7, 2020
High School One Way Weekend is for High School Students in the 9th Grade through Graduated Seniors. We'll experience freedom and fun in worship with friends, new and old! It's all about discovering and becoming who we are made to be and pursuing Jesus in exciting, new ways. This will be a weekend of growth with community in conversation, engaging worship, dynamic preaching, as well as crazy, messy, loud games and late nights.
One Way Weekend is a special, vulnerable, exciting place where you can be the real you.
You will meet lifelong friends, enjoy beautiful days and nights in the canyon, and grow deeper in your relationship with Christ.
Nathan Teeters has been involved in Student Ministry for 14 years. He has spent the past 4 years traveling nationally and internationally speaking to students about Jesus. This will be Nathans 2nd year at One Way. Nathans favorite part of One Way is seeing the Holy Spirit encounter students and watching them leave realizing that they are sons and daughters of a resurrected King. He will be joining us as our speaker!
Tyler is joining One Way Weekend for the third year as the worship leader for the Middle School and High School Camps. He serves as the Creative Pastor at River Fellowship Church in Amarillo. Tyler thinks camp is awesome because students and leaders are coming expecting God to move in a powerful way; and when we meet with expectation, we open ourselves up to the power of Christ! He is also a very big fan and advocate of 9 Square at camp.
Isabel is a college student at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, where she is studying apologetics and worship leadership. She is a member of the Liberty Worship Collective, where she, and her team get the opportunity to travel the nation and worship God with thousands of high school and college students. This is Isabel’s third year leading worship at One Way. Her favorite part of camp is getting to see all the students she met the year before, and see how much they have grown in their walk with the Lord. She is looking forward to meeting and pouring in to new students this year.
